That's right, last fall Mike and I got married, and so I am now a Berkenpas. My new blog is jaberkenpas.

Jean Ann Berkenpas: A Maple Ridge based cyclist, artist, and Math/Science tutor, I grew up in the picturesque mountain village of Valemount BC. I moved to the Greater Vancouver Region to complete post secondary education, and graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in the Ecology and Evolution stream in 2009. Also an elite level mountain biker with the Canadian Cycling Team, and an avid outdoors enthusiast, I draw from my many interests and experiences in the creation of my art. Pencil, pen and ink, and acrylic paint are my favorite mediums, and my work covers a wide range of themes.
